I'm working through a DXP training manual that recommends testing the system before going to the install site. It says to plug each station into a station port and then plug a digital armiger into the board and test each port on the board with a telephone that you know is operable.
What is a digital armiger? I've checked internet supply houses and can't find any reference to such a device?

It is a device that breaks out the connector on the card to 6 pin modular jacks so you can plug the phones directly in. You can make your own by crimping mod ends on to an old cable. I wouldn't waste my time with all that testing.

Thanks, we don't do pre-install testing either. It's a training manual so ya have to give em the answer they want. :thumb:
