It might sound funny but we just took over a customer that has a DX-80 and the exp. cabinet is flakey. Does anybody know if the DX-120 exp. cabinet is compatible with the 80. Hope this isn't to silly we are not real big Comdial Fans

The 120 exp cab is not compatible with the 80.

Often the flakyness can be cleared by a correct power up, cold start and reload. Put both cabnets on a battery back up, with the back up unit off, turn the systems on, then power up the back up. Best to have the latest software also. Mark

Look at the firmware chip on the expansion also. F12 was problematic.
