Hello,
I have asked questions on here before and received very good answers. I want to start off by saying thanks for the help. Ok here is what I have. My company is shutting down for the x-mas holidays and I want to have a generic message that says we are closed and will reopen jan 2nd. 1st how and where do I program this message and 2nd how do I take the system off its current cycle and put it so that its in constant night mode so that everyone who calls until we are back will here the new message. I hope I made that understandable. If not please let me know.
Thanks
Neil

I use the holiday greeting, usually rout box 803 and put the dates in the holiday schedule, then it will play that greeting on those dates with no other changes required. Mark

I am guessing based on your answer this is something I need to do via a laptop? I am new to using phone systems but I am computer literate. I have not yet purchased a cable to hook the laptop to the system. Is there a way to do what you are saying via the phone itself?
Thanks
Neil

you create and record the holiday box in the supervisor functions by phone. There is probably a teleparameter to use to put the dates in, you would have to dig in the manual to find it. You should really get a comdial tech to come out and give you a one time training so you can do your holidays each year. If I get time I'll take a look later today.

Mark,
Thanks for your help. And I have tried my local tech and to be honest they suck. I call and call and e-mail and I get one short reply. Unfortunately I receive better support on here than I do locally. Thanks again for your help.
