Long shot to find one here I know… but if anyone is in the PA, sound-system, theater sound biz and has wrecked out a 19” rack-mount parametric EQ (NOT a graphic eq) laying around that they could part with PM or e-mail me with a make/model and what you’d want for it.

Yeah, it's a long shot asking here. Actually they should be cheap enough new since everybody is going to DSP now.

There's tons of multi-effect DSP units, that do parametric equalizing out there, among 30 other things at once. I just don't like 'em. I've used a couple over the years but never have liked 'em... They're tone eaters! Tone goes IN but doesn't come out. :shrug: where the tone go

Then there are only two types of stand alone parametric that I found available NEW now-a-days. Cheap crap that I could throw a little money at and hate it, IF it worked... Or the really nice ones that sell for, "good lawd HOW MUCH!?!?!? That's more than my entire amp rig cost to start with" price range.

I've been asking and looking around in several places... Trying to stay away from e-bay if I can help it, though.

I have a bunch of old equipment sitting around at UT. Give me a week or so when I go back after break and I will let you know.
