When using the Enhanced Ringing Options for the Comdial FX-II system, and enabling Enhanced Night Ringing in the System Parameter Menu, How does the night button on an attendant phone function in the Enhanced mode? I know it toggles between Off, Day1, Day2, and night normally, but when the system enters into an enhanced enabled day, does the night button remove the system from the enhanced mode and revert back to normal scheduled ringing options? or does it toggle from Enhanced Day1, E-Day2, and E-Night schedules? Thanks for any help you can offer.

I believe the Enhanced Night Mode is more for setting up automatic schedules instead of offering more options using the Night button.

Thanks for the response, and I agree. I was wondering when the system is in the Enhanced Night Mode, what happens when the night button is activated. I may just have to try it this weekend and see how it responds. If anyone has tried this before, let me know.
I appreciate the feedback, and enjoy reading everyones posts on the board.

I've used this a few times, but I think every time I just had to test and read to get it to do what I wanted, and to figure out the ins and outs of how it worked. Someone else who's used it more may post with more information.
Are you looking to set it up on the schedule, as your thread subject indicates, or are you strictly going to be using it in manual mode, with the use of the Night button?

Thanks for the reply Justin. I have it programmed in the Enhanced Mode for Sat, and Sun on a schedule. Since the night button overrides the schedule mode, My customer is looking for an alternative during the weekend, if they have to abandon their call center for any reason, and want to know if they could use the night button to move to another scheduled sequence such as EDAY1, EDAY2, or ENIGHT, and the programming would remain in that mode manually until released. You are right, this is just one of those things you have to play with and see how she acts!
Appreciate your feedback.
