Has anyone ever tried to hook up more than 4 cordless (7265) phones on a dx-120?

Ive got a customer who is runnig 4 and no problems, I don't see why you can't run more.

Does comdial not reccommend it?

Wireless these days you can usually run alot in the same place, with no interferance or crosstalk between lines.

(example: were running over 250 Plantronics CS50's in one location and never had a problem)

Comdial does not recommend more then 4. However, it really depends on the distance between the bases, get them far enough apart and you should be fine. I always let the customer test them out before I sell them in quanity, but I only keep 2 extra to do that with, if they want more then that they have to test and buy 2 at a time. I have never had a location happy with more then two, but my sites have been smaller offices.

Never had the need to connect more than 2 bases and 4 phones! If you can achieve the separation minimums I see no reason why it would not work! Remember, these are not cells and do not "hand off" to another base.

The separation is indeed important. Don't give up on getting more than 4 to work if you aren't sure you have good separation between the bases. You'll even have trouble with 4 phones if the bases are too close together.

Good luck, and let us know how it works out if you proceed with installing more than 4.
