We have a customer with a DX-80 system - software level is 40 - installed in 2005. They have 2 of the DX cordless phones.
They are having an issue with the cordless phones: when they try to intercom them, they are told the extension is out of service.
We were unable to duplicate this problem while at the site. After further discussion with the customer, they told us it may only be happenning on transferred calls.
My questions: 1. Has anyone else experienced this problem? 2. Would upgrading the software fix this problem? I reread the release notes - there was a transfer issue mentioned but no mention of whether it was happening on the cordless phones or the DX-80 phones (they have not had issues with transferring calls to DX-80 phones).
Thank you.

This may have something to do when the phone goes to the sleep mode.
