I'm 2/3 of the way there. J0816, CID04 is up and working. A nice gent sent me the Keylink software, but I have no idea of how it works with the brick. I have my laptop connected to the brick with a null cable, what port does it connect to the brick? Is it 1 or 2? If I open a hyperterminal session on port 2, it goes thru a boot sequence, gives me ROM-DOS boot options: 1. Normal Start-Up (Flash Drive boot), 2. Exit to DOS (ROM drive boot). If I choose 1; it goes thru another boot sequence then states it has encountered an error: Press R to reboot or T to terminate. Neither works. If I choose 2 it takes me to D:\>.
When I start the keylink software what serial port do I connect to the brick? Any help would be appreciated!!!

Is the error you are seeing a "CRC" error? If it is you have a bad unit but it can be fixed.
