Can anyone out there verify if a system had a working Key Voice debut attached by looking at the system programming? I can email it you. Using the Keylink software all the REMOTE.EXE does is try to connect at different baud rates over and over. I am beginning to believe that it is defective. Please help!!!

Your debut should have a a steady power LED and a flashing LED. This is known as a heartbeat. No heartbeat=no function.

Yep powered up you have a flashing heartbeat within 2-3 minutes if it is functioning correctly.

Rather be fishing: I sent you an email with the printout of the system programming. Can you tell if it was programmed for voicemail and AA. The reason I ask is: The vendor that maintained the system before it was purchased left my friend hanging, when he asked them if they could install it for him. I am suspecting they knew the Debut wasn't working that's why they weren't interested in doing the install. He bought thet J0816, CID04, Debut for $300 I think.

The database shows ext 26,27,28,29 as IST ports but only 26 and 28 as voice mail ports. See if your Debut is an analog version. If it is you'll also need ATAs to make it work. You're going to have to really find out if you have a heartbeat light before you can go any further. The system may have been programmed for voice mail but whose to say if the vmail has worked recently. Without access to the CF card I couldn't answer that honestly.

The only LED that comes on is the Power LED. So it must not be a working unit. How do you determine if it is analog or digital? Can you recommend who to send it to for repair? My friend uninstalled the system and brought everything that was attached with it. Where can you get ATA's from?

Click on "Equipment" link above, on the left. Then Click on "Comdial"---look for "ATI-D 2 port" under "Digitech".
