OK - seems like a dumb question, but I can't find in any manual how to reset a vm password. I know how to re-create a box. But it's not in the admin manual, the installers manual. I can't seem to find a specific voice mail manual for the system. I just moved the system and it works great except for mb 101.

The easiest way is to delete it, then add it (re-create). You can do that through the admin box 70. The other way is to use KeyLink DX and connect to the VM serial port. Doing it that way will show the password for that box.

Please complete your profile, it would be beneficial to you if you would accept PM's and admin email. BTW, deleting the mailbox is not the easy way to reset a password.

The mailbox password can be reset via the admin mailbox and supervisor functions. Specific steps will not be posted. Contact one the mods or admin or your local Comdial/Vertical rep.

You need to be a Vertical/Comdial dealer to get KeyLink DX. I'm a dealer, but I don't usually service Alexandria. Ed (EV607797) is a dealer and I believe he is based in Lorton, VA.
