We have installed a new Samsung 100 with PRI and the customer has a problem when they pause in the middle of dialing for more than three seconds between digits. They will get a recording " cannot complete your call as dialed". We have had no luck with the carrier in increaseing the interdigit timing. We have turned on the LCR feature so the digits will be pulsed all at once and this is working fine. Has anyone had this problem and solved it another way? I am afraid that in future installations I may have reason not to use LCR.

Well if it's the carrier that's timing out that fast then I think you were right in programming the LCR to solve the problem.Haven't come across it myself though.

Thanks for the input, I just wanted to see how someone else would handle the situation. I have not had this problem with any other carrier. ![[Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]](https://www.sundance-communications.com/forum/smile.gif)

You could of also had them use system speed dials whenever possible for common numbers.

Thanks Byegone1: I was afraid that LCR was the only was and I guess I have to live with that. Oh, give me back my DXP!
Thanks RLuna: But this is a real estate office and the calls are return messages from new clients. they dial from a hand written message and while looking at it pause in dialing. Samsung is a reliable product once installed but it has a long was to go in programming Flexibility.
