on a idcs 500 how can i light a key with
another mailbox that is not the same as the ext. ie general mb 300 on ext 204 and still
have mailbox 204 light it's own vmsg key

Pretty sure you can do that, what voicemail system and system software are you using?I'll have to check the documentation to see if it applies to all 3 software versions.
