HAVE ONE GROUP OF 4 PHONES AT OUR RECEPTION AREA AND ONE PHONE BY ITSELF IN ANOTHER SECTION OF THE BUILDING. (FIVE TELEPHONE #'S THAT SHOULD RING IN ROLLOVER) HAVE GROUP OF 4 IN STATION GROUP BUT WHEN MAIN LINE IS BUSY IT ROLLS OVER BUT DOES NOT RING TO OTHER PHONES, JUST FLASHES. PHONE ON OTHER SIDE OF BUILDING ONLY FLASHES. NEED IT TO RING SEPARATELY IF YOU DIAL ITS LINE DIRECTLY. ASSIGNED IT TO A DIFFERENT GROUP & TRUNK BUT THEN IT ONLY RINGS IN ROLLOVER TO THE MAIN LINE. I'M FAIRLY NEW AT THIS. CAN ANYONE HELP? WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

Ringing is assigned in mmc 406.If you want to ring more than 1 telephone then assign the ringing to a group. Then you assign stations into the ring group in mmc 601 set the group to unconditional ring type if you want them to ring at the same time.
Your "need the line to ring separately" I'm not sure what you mean. The telco is who assigns the equivaleny not the phone system. If you want to assign it to a specific station then just do it in mmc 406.I wouldn't do it if it's a part of the main equivalency group.

I HAVE ALL OF THE PHONES RINGING NOW BUT THERE SEEMS TO BE ANOTHER ISSUE. WE HAVE FIVE INCOMING LINES AND ONLY TWO OF THEM RING THE PHONES WHEN DIALED DIRECTLY. WHEN THE OTHER THREE ARE DIALED DIRECTLY THE PHONES JUST FLASH. IS THIS A PROGRAMMING ISSUE?

Sounds like programming.Check mmc 406 and make sure that the 3lines that don't ring are set up the same as the 2 that are ringing properly.

I'VE GOT THEM ALL SET UP THE SAME. I PLAYED AROUND WITH THE TRKS FOR A LONG TIME. I PUT ONE STATION IN EACH TRK. I ALSO TRIED THEM AS A GROUP IN TRK 701 BUT THAT DIDN'T WORK. IT DOES THE SAME THING. IF I DIAL THE MAIN NUMBER TO THE OFFICE THE PHONES RING. IF I DIAL LINE 2 NONE OF THE PHONES RING, THEY JUST FLASH. LINE 3 RINGS WHEN YOU CALL. LINES 4 & 5 JUST FLASH.

1 station in each trunk?
You need to see what group the trunks are set to ring in mmc 406 example 501.Then in mmc 601 assign the group 501 with the stations that you want to ring.Set the ring type to unconditional to make them all ring at the same time. That's all there is to it.

DO ALL TRUNKS NEED TO BE SET TO 501? OR JUST ONE IN PARTICULAR?

If you want the trunks to ring at all the same stations then in mmc406 set them all the same
701-705 ring group 501.
Then in mmc 601 set group 501 to unconditional ring and set all the extension numbers that you want to ring as members.
That's it.
