How do I switch Starmail that I use with Prostar 816 Plus from auto attendant mode to voicemail mode.
What I would like to have is Voicemail system that will turn on automatically and accept messages after nobody answers the phone after say 4 rings.
Thanks, Predrag

Depends on a couple of things. Is the ringing to a group now?I imagine it is.Then you would need to setup a new station group of the phones that you want to ring and change the trunk ringing to that group with an overflow to the voicemail/auto attendant group after x number of seconds (probaly about 15 seconds).I assume you want auto attendant to answer after the delay of 4 rings or just to a general mailbox? I don't service the Prostar 816 line but thast's how a newer system would have to be setup and I'm guessing the Prostar is similiar. If not then someone else will chime in I'm sure.

I better take this one step at a time. Right now Starmail is not plugged in to Prostar 816 Plus. When call comes in, all 8 stations are ringing.
How would I figure out if ringing is to a group first of all?
Thanks, Predrag
