Have the above mentioned system. Of the 16 ports only the first 6 work. When a phone is plugged into 7 and 8 the phone just makes a bunch of strange noises. When plugging into 7-16 I get nothing. I have been told that maybe 7-8 are not programmed for the correct phone. I only need two more ports so 7-16 do not matter at the moment. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Mike

ports 7-8 are switchable from keys to single line sets so plug in a home phone and see if it works to put them back there are switches on the mother board in side the case plus programming i would suggest you get the programming manual that shows the swich positions and explains them and system programing there is a link above for manuals plus if there are jacks up to 16 try the home phone in those as well if they are single line boards they are not switch able and cards need to change
