Hi, we've recently had an iDCS 100 system installed, and we requested that we have an auto-attendant to come on at night-time to say the office has closed.
This has never worked properly.
We have contacted our installers to come and make it work, they have been in half a dozen times, tried a few things, but nothing seems to work.
Eventually, we had to set up an RTO key to be able to switch between night-mode and day-mode, but I don't know why it won't switch automatically, and I can't seem to be able to verify the automatic timer with Customer Level access.
Anyway, we've completely lost confidence in our Installers, they are completely unhelpful and seem fairly incompetent. Is there any way we can take control of our own system and set up the times that night-mode starts and stops?
Thanks in advance..
Colin.

Personally, I recomend that you contact Samsung and explain your situation. They will help you get in touch with a competant dealer to get you working right. Good luck.

You use mmc 507 and you have to build your time tables in layers remembering that when you stop a rp time it falls back to the previous so build it like a multi tiered cake with the bottom layer being the largest then so on.

It is very easy to set-up Ring plans. Set all days to Ring plan 1 for 00:00 to 23:59. Then set Ring Plan 2 for your times (ex.08:00 to 17:00) then set you plans in MMC 406.
Also check to make sure the system knows which plan is for Night/Day.

Thanks, but I can't do MMC 507 without the technical passcode, and I only have customer level access.

even with the manual He still needs the passcode reset. What I cant figure out is what is all the hubub about not giving your customers the codes the way I see it sooner or later they will try doing these things and end up calling you any way to fix what went wrong

You should call Samsung's Business Communications Division in the UK at 0161 655 1100 and ask them for a different installer. I do not recommend that you go into Technical programming. ------------------ Buy-SamsungPhoneSystems.com
