Hello.

I am being plagued with a very strange problem and no one seem to know what is going on.

I assign a station a LCR COS of 2 using MMC 310. Then I assign a route number for COS 2 in MMC 712 to use trunk group 801.

However, when I dial a phone number which uses this route number. It always uses the information on COS 1 instead of COS 2.

Can anyone tell me if this works on their system or if its just me.

Am I overlooking anything here or is this the text book procedure on how to Handel LCR COS? Please try this out on your system and let me know if it works for you or not.

Thanks.

Yes, I have all the tech manuals and I believe this is how you set it up?

Does anyone here have personal experience setting up Least cost routing(LCR) because as far as I know, this is a major flaw in the Samsung equipment.

Apparently, no one else has been able to work?

Thanks.

I set up LCR on samgung and it works great but I think you are missing a few steps please be more detailed on the sequence of events that they dail and your programming steps ie did you program mmc's 710,711,713,724,603 and 210 lcr enable? oh and mmc 301 day/night stn cos and check ext trunk use mmc 304 any way there are several steps that need to be taken aside from 310 and 712

I have taken all the steps to setup LCR and LCR also works great for me. However, the problem is using different least cost routing class of service(COS)in MMC 310 and MMC 712.

Can you tell me if you have tried to using the LCR COS in MMC 310 and MMC 712? It just does not work.

The systems seem to always follow LCR COS 1 regardless of which LCR COS you set in MMC310 to what trunk group you assign in MMC 712. Please try it for yourself and let me know if you are able to get it to work.

This way we will know if its a actual System problem or configuration error.

Thanks.

Thanks Wrichey.

It would really help me to know if this is a universal bug the Samsung LCR software or if I have missed a small detail in the configuration.

The LCR works absolutely perfect for everything except the Class of service options. It seem to just ignore my settings and use class of service 1 for every station.

Please let me know if you are able to simulate this error or if the Least cost routing class of service works for your system.

Are you testing on an iDCS 500?

Thanks.

Hello Wrichey.

I was just wondering if you had any luck with the Least cost routing using the different class of service?

My system does not seem to recognize the different classes of service specified for each extension.

Thanks.
