I currently have a Prostar DCS with one T1 card one TrkA1 one TrkB1 one TrkC1 All the trunks are being used. There is one open card slot in cabinet 1 slot 6. Can this be used for additional Trunks? When I install a trunk card the system does not seem to recognize it.

After you installed the card did you do mmc 806 to initialize the card and then mmc 724 to assign the trunk numbers?

You need to access programming at technician level. Transfer 800 Passcode 1 Speaker 806 Select cabinet and slot of new card install Then Speker 724 Go to trunks and assign new ports with trunk numbers. If you have no experience doing it I would recommend you get a dealer to do it for you.
