When an outside line comes in it rings on 6 stations and whoever is free picks it up. However, some of us have moved into a different office and nolonger want our phones to ring when the outside line comes in. I'm guessing we're part of a particular group.

How do I find out what group the stations are in and how to remove them?

Thanks in advance.

I forgot to add, we're using an iDCS100.

Use program 601 for ring group programing and 406 to program ringing per line. Hope this helps. You can get the manual from the link above.

If you have access to programming yes check out mmc 406 to see where the trunks are ringing. Then you can go to mmc601 and remove the phone(s) as members or you can dial 53XXX where XXX is the group and remove them at the phones themselves. This allows you to easily put the phones back in the group if you need it later.
Check this link out as well

Thanks i'll look into it.

I've got a manual at the moment but it seems veyr basic, its called "System Administration Guide" and is 37 pages long, surely this isn't the full manual? For instance, there's nothing in it about mmc600/601 etc...

I've checked out the link above, does anyone know whether the manual for the iDSC100 contains the information I'm missing?

Thanks in advance.

You have the sys admin guide which is just basic administration. The manuals page does have the release 1 manual there.
