I heard the new samsung voice mail system can store faxes. I was wondering if anyone who tried it out could tell me a little about it?

For example.

1. Can you setup a unique DID fax number that will go directly to a person's mailbox or does a caller have to navigate through different options to leave a " fax voice mail" ?

2. Can the voice mail automatically send the fax via email to each person?

3. Is there a user licenses involved for the faxing to email, voice mail to email or is it once you purchase the equipment you get all the features?

I have done it DID through PRI MMC xxx then set the direct trunk menu in the SVMI to take call input from FWDID. They can go automaticaly to email and you can set a parameter to delete them from the SVMI once sent. Them system comes with 5 seats then you can purchase a unlimited license this works for both faxes and voicemail. One word of warning though you can only have one dynamic fax port in the SVMI8e on the 4 port expansion and 2 on the SVMI16E with 2 4 port expansions and none on the 2E or 4E

Yes you set xxx to send the calls directly to the SVMI and that passes them through the Direct Trunk Menu where when take input from FWDID is set it will match the DID digits and if you set a mailbox with the same number Wha La you go directly to it. And yes there can only be incoming fax taken on the 8 and 2 on the 16 with the proper expansion cards.
