I am installing DX-120 in one office building (Metal) and placeing two hard extensions and two portables next door (200' away) with aerial cat 5 self support. What type of cable pair protection can I get for lighting between the buildings, other than grounding the self support wire at both ends.

You need to install line protection such as those made by ITW/Linx.

I also like the Circa protectors. Like the 2606 with the 75 volt red modules. Seem to work great. You need one at each end.

Thanks for your input, I have decided to go with the Snap-Lite fused bridgeing clips on a 66 blk at both ends. Very similiar setup I have always used on all my E-911 installs around the State when working as a DS1/DSO Tech for Qwest. I just had a moment of loss of memory. thanks again for the input.
