56ex huh, WOW!, thought they were all gone. I agree with Wrichey, the Telekol is a good voicemail and will last a LONG time. They keep chugging away when systems themselves die. Worked with many of the Telekol products in the past, easy to configure and user friendly.

I would agree w/ Waine and Ben .
The voicegate will work with the 56 ,but the integration is a PIA
So the Telekol is your best bet.

We used Vodavi's Analog Dispatch. Integration was easy. Make sure you use the MSLC 2 card with the 56.

How much do you want to spend for a voicemail on a system that has been manufacture discontinued for about ten years?

On stuff like this, I put in an upgraded Amanda@SOHO which is super easy to install and program. If the end user screws something up, just call in and change it for them, you never need to program with a laptop.

I believe Telekol produced the software for the original Cadence VM that was used in the DCS and it works fine, but how much do you want to spend and how complicated do you want it to get?
