Our company has a Samsung IDCS500 system and IDCS18D phones. The last 4 extensions that I have added do not update the vm notification with our cadence vm card. Once the phone line is unplugged from the phone and plugged back in, the phones do display the fact that there are messages waiting and the light does blink. Does anyone know how to set the refresh property for the vm notification?
Thanks, Matt

One assumes first that you have powered down since you added the last four phones or is this a place that is too important to let you do that (like duh and I turn the switch off by accident)?

I have not tried to restart the phone system, but I will try that. Unfortunately, I do have to wait until off hours. Do you have any other suggestions that I can try before tomorrow morning(the planned time to restart the system)
Thanks, Matt

Many, many, many things are easily cured by a power down restart. There is so much software in many of these systems that one line of code here or there could be overlooked and the system works and the guy who wrote it gets paid and a year later something like this not updating happens.
Stuff like this has to have consistant problems or no one notices it and no one reports it and there are so few reports that no one thinks it is significant to trouble shoot code when a restart fixes the problem. yadda, yadda, yadda.
Glaring problems that cause lots of people to call up and scream get fixed. An isolated incident here or there that is solved with a restart probably never will. Life is like that.
