just for grins set a key to NSS (xxx) x being the extension number on the networked keyset. Call the keyset from a different location.
Does the NSS key flash?
Is this the location with one ip for each system?

Yes, the NSXXX is flashing and yes all 3 systems are networked with 1 static public address each .What is the biz with 1 or 2 public addresses? :toast:

the reason I was asking was if the key didnt flash then you might want to add a second ip address.
Since the key does flash then the ns key should work but I will still think on it

Sorry but I don’t understand why needed 2 public addresses only to have BLF? Could you be more detailed ,please.

knowing that the mcp only does the handshake and then hands it over to the mgi, I was guessing (not fact) that the feature set was running through the mgi and that the other system may be sending information to the wrong ip.
You know routers better than I do so I cant say for sure but it was worth a shot.
like you said the nss key flashes so I dont think that is the trouble but I am still thinking on it. I cant simulate your set up so there is no way for me to test my theory

I think I ran into this early on when the first IP versions came out. obviously you can transfer calls so your networking must be set up ok. Out of curiousity how are your LCR and netowrk LCR tables set up for transparent dialing? I need examples of the entries specifically the ones that involve the transparent dialing between nodes. Also what did you use for the system Id's, did you stick to 001, 002, etc.? This might help me trouble shoot your problem.

As Samsung said the DSS/BLF feature is supported only for systems networked via IP, so the difference between 2 kinds (IP and PRI), is the MGI card. Ya Wrichey could be a good approach, maybe is something relayed with MMC 825 parameter 6 (SPNET DIGITS) which fallow or not MMC 835 (INBAND or OUTBAND).Otherwise the systems totally works, mean links ID, LCR, network dialing and numbering plan, network did translation should be ok. Thanx for your help benb.
