I have an iDCS 500 R2 recently installed. I have a 16SLI card installed just for fax machines. All SLI extension are set up as Hot Lines grabbing Trunk Group 9. Extension 2065 (1st Fax Machine)works perfectly, unfortunately all of the extension on that card after that don't seem to function as a hot line. (I must dial 9) I have verified MMC 306 using both OSM and KMMC that they are set up as a hot line. I have also tried to change the trunk group to 800 with no success. Lastly, I put all of those extensions into a different COS (For what reason I have no idea but I was desperate)and still no success.

Any suggestions?

A couple tests. Delete the programming on 2065 and program the identical info on 2066 and see what happens.

Substitute an 8SLi card to see if it operates the same way. If you don't have one, I could loan you one for the test.

Is the first fax machine identical to the rest of the faxes? Try putting that first fax machine on 2066, 2067, etc. and see if there is a difference.

From those tests something will point in some direction. What software revision are you using?

Thanks Bunnie and BigC. BigC you were spot on right. I took a look at 502 and saw that I had 2065's off hook selection set to 0 while all of the others were set to 8. I will have the customer try it on Monday when they get in.

Thanks again!!!
