Hi,

We are currently testing Officeserv call v5.2.0.0 on our samsung 7400.

All apears fine apart from when we try and dial from outlook, unless the contact telephone number starts +44 the system thinks it's a internal call and dials reception even though dial 9 for a outside line is enabled in windows. If we remove the 0 before the area code this also works. eg 161 insted of 0161.

Is there a way round this?

I just set this up yesterday on a 7200. Using officeserve call and outlook to dial out of an outlook contact phone number. Works great and easy to set up. I'm sure your issue can be resolved. Fill out your profile and I'm sure we can help ya.

The OS call Manual (Australian Version) has a detailed section on configuring OS Call with Outlook. (Chapter 4)

If you do not want to use International Format {+61(2)12345678 for Sydney} you have to set up the dial masks in the Outlook configuration page.

The version of Outlook also has an effect because some versions have a switch that automatically convert all numbers into International format.

When you get a mask to work, it is essential that all the customers records use the same format. This often means changing a large number of records.
