Hi there,
Does anyone have a list of what buttons they find useful to put on an executives ITP-5112L phone? Our CEO doesn't like the buttons that are on his phone at the moment, and our provider is happy to change them, but hasn't been able to provide us with a 'useful' configuration. To that end, what buttons do you guys find executives use most on their phones? For us, there are some obvious ones:
Call1/Call2 DS307 (DS to his secretary's phone) Park Page* VMMSG
etc., but are there other buttons that you guys find you use often?
Thanks! -Deep (just a guy)

What you are asking is kind of a personal choice that each user should make themselves. But if you want a couple of suggestions: DND Speed dials Call Record??

Thanks pvj. Yeah, it's a hard sell...but there's just so many options...many of which we don't even understand. Plus, with the fact that it's two keypresses to get to the soft keys on the 5112L, it gets kinda frustrating to use any of these buttons. I wish there was a way to bypass having to hit "Screen".
That being said, the buttons I would probably look at for the first page are:
DSXXX (DS to his assistant) PARK VMMSG DND CID or LOG (can't decide which is better) CONF TRSF VT STORE
But I'd love to know what other people have as their buttons on their first page...it might give me a better idea as to what people find useful.
Thoughts?
Thanks, Deep (just a guy)

Ask your tech about MMC 120. They can set the phone to display the AOM keys fist without having to hit the screen key.

What size of company is this? I have alot of requests for DIR keys now that it includes intercom searches. Who can expect a CEO to remember ext numbers?

Thanks guys - the company is about 100 ppl. DIR is useful, and we'll be including that...I've asked him if he prefers LOG or CID Review. He surprises me sometimes, so I've found it better to give him the choice and let him decide which he likes better.
We don't have any CTI stuff, yet, as he didn't approve those purchases. Can you sync with Outlook if we don't have CTI?
