I installed a new 500r2 with the new mcp2 card today every thing went great then the system reset? Ran to the phone room yep she was comming back up ? Waited for a min thought ok just a fluke, went back and started to train on the v-mail ----again it reset.Checked the normal stuff cords, power, card seated, called tech support,You gotta start chasing the problem break it down to the bare system ...After about 5 hours of breaking it down waiting 10-30 min for it to reset again I found out that the mis card and rcm card are bad/or it's the mcp but with both removed it runs fine .....And the co was not upset at all with me cutting it off and on all day....What a day Anybody else had this happen?

I have had that happen before. Ended up being that the rcm2 card causes the system to do that when it is in position number two on the mcp2 card. Needs to be in position one.

Yeah, after I moved that rcm2 card I never any problem on that system again. Also I assume you checked to make sure that if you have the new mcp2 card with the smaller memory card, you have the updated cabinet right?

But I think they sent a few of the wrong type of cabinets out with the new mcp2 cards. That is why I say to make sure and check that. I think the abinet has to be like a revision 3 or something like that.
