Hi there. I hope you are doing well.

I need your help. I am doing some test with TEPRI in ISDN PRI.
The carrier (Telephone Service Provider) see in the setup of their equipment a pamaterer called "Screen Indicator" set it up as Suscriber Provider. This means that my PBX has the call control it`s master and the equipment of the provider it`s slave. They ask me to change this parameter to "Network provider" and now be the slave and the provider be Master, but I do not how. I wonder if you can help me.
I am know that I am a suscriber and Provider it`s network, but we are connecting in a kind of MODE as Master and we must to change to slave mode.

Thanks

Regards

No, the sync it´s OK.

Actually the service it´s working, but I have the call control, I mean. If I send any CLIP the called party will recive this CLIP and the provider wants have the call control.

They have somwthing that they call SET UP it´s a kind of LOG in this LOG they see a parameter called "Screen Indicator" in this pamaterer they see that we have a kind of connection Suscriber provider and when they connect with other vendor, the other vendor can change this from Suscriber to Network provider. In this case does not matter which CLIP I send, the CLIP that the called party will recive it´s the CLIP that the Provider send

There is a master/slave switch on the TEPRI card, which for me has been sent from the factory in the wrong position twice, but both times that happened the carrier couldn't bring the PRI up. The L2 light wouldn't come on until I changed the dipswitch. You could ask the carrier what type CO you are connected to and change MMC 430 to reflect that, ie NI1, NI2, DMS100, 5ESS, etc. You have to reset the PRI card after you do that though.

I`ll try this. But I remember that the PRI is UP, everything it`s working, but in a mode that if I sent the caller ID this caller Id it`s recived by the called party.
This MMC how it`s called, because in my system it´s TRUNK COS.

Thanks
