Hi All, I'm currently on a new install everything is up working and programmed, the "only" problem is the system randomly resets and I can't pin point the problem. I'm getting S/W watchdog and Svmi reset restart alarms. I've been on the phone with tech support but it's like talking to a therapist..Hmmmm so what do you think about that! Anyone else have the reset problem?
Thanks, I want to go home eventually.

Came across this a couple of times.
One was a bad mcp the other a bad lcp. I dont have alot of ideas because I am not on site.
Make sure your power supplies are not over loaded.

Is this on the customer's network? If so, IP conflict issue, remove LAN cable to verify. Is this a M or L? Last time I had the problem it was a SCP

Thanks for all the replies, I've been staring at it most of the evening and of course everything has been running smooth (it knows I'm watching)
The card config is 2 psu's : slot 1 8 trk slot 2 16 dli slots 3-4-5-6-7 16 slimw slot 8 svmi8-I only 1 cabinet and not on a network.
I did get 1 LCP alarm but again only 1 cabinet and it only came up once. I've been trying to determine if has to do with the amount of traffic, but it will happen during peak traffic and also when it's slow. Oh and it's the M version. I may try wiping the program and re loading and hope it doesn't carry "whatever" in the upload.

u definitely have the rcm in the wrong slot if it is rebooting , I let tech support cost me many hours before figuring this out, we had always put in middle? but now with new boards it has to be in slot 1, will cause system to randomly re-boot, always when the president is on the phone with the owner, thanks samsung for changing something else and not letting ur own tech support know, which is more & more common now

RCM in slot 2 will be the issue if you have MMC+ style processor. If you have sm processor that shouldnt matter. If you have sm processor, there are some config scenarios to watch out for. What is the version type of the cabinet? what is the version of the MCP? Check em in 859.

Thanks again, I should have read the post before I defaulted and reloaded the program, but I will definitely check the location of the rcm if it reboots again. Thanks, this is the kind of info I need. In 859: M board V 03 MCP2 B3: misc: 02 MCP2 B1 MFM V 01. I'll keep you posted.
Thanks all

Foneman69 & Sam Sung...Thank you Thank you & Thank you!!!! After defaulting and uploading, 2 hours later it crashed again (I knew it would) and sure enough RCM was in the middle and it also didn't show up in mmc 859, not to mention CID didn't work but they didn't think they had it on their lines, so I didn't put 2+2 together.
Now after the swap it shows up in 859 as CID and they also have caller ID on the sets now, if it doesn't reboot by the morning, I'm a free man. I'm not sure if I would have figured this out on my own and Tech support thought it was a VM card problem, So again Than you

If by crashing you mean the watchdog reset, then you are probably ok. If crashing means something different, there is still potential to be another cause. Was it an MMC+ processor? Did you get watchdog reset in 851 again this afternoon?
