If we have the ability to ring both a IP/TDM keyset and an offsite number ie.. cell phone at the same time? System is an OS 7100

I just tried this on my office system (100 R1).
I used a virtual ext. (3501) forwarded to my cell. When I dial ext. 3501 I get the cell phone. MMC601 lets me put 3501 in the ring group but it does not forward when I call into the ring group. I might be missing a step, but even if I get it to work there will be a delay in ringing the cell phone. Because of that I don't think it is practical.

Station forwarding will not work what a station group is called. You can get a call to the cell phone when the IP/TDM keysets don't answer but not ring all three at once. I've tested this one out before and the best I could get it was call comes in ring both sets IP/TDM, No answer timer changed to 10 seconds then transfers call to voicemail which then does a screened transfer to the cell, ring about 2-3 times then pulls the call back to the users internal mailbox. That's as good as I got it to work. Not seamless as you'd like but close.

Thanks I have a prospect that says he is geting a quote on an Avaya Office IP system that will do it. He is calling it twining, as in twin phones I guess. I'm not gonna jump through hoops for this it is just a 7100 with 6 stations and 3 trunks. They are even trying to sell this guy a PRI for 3 co's and 1 fax.
One other question, going brain dead here, if I setup call recording to a mailbox that would also send it to the e-mail gateway if it was setup wouldn't it?

I still don't see how avaya can do it because the network has to "hunt" for the cell phone if it is out of the area. That hunt will delay the ring to the cell phone. I think it is BS but you should ask in the avaya forum. I would explain to the potential customer about "finding" a cell phone the network and how it will affect this so called "twin ring".

I have been testing twinning with a 2n VoiceBlue lite GSM gateway, using Samsung SIP extn's in their latest software. Works great!! Its not pure twinning as GSM takes about 6 seconds before the cell phone starts ringing, but at least you can choose which device to pick up.

Then you can adjust the delay of when the office VM would pick-up or if it does at all.

I understand that, but if you have digital and IP phones ringing for 30 seconds and the cell phone is not "found" yet, how is that ringing them all at the same time. The caller will either hang-up or be answered before the cell is found. Maybe I just don't get it, but it doesn't seem to me it will work very well. I think thats one of those features that you sell a customer and pay for with service for ever.
