Does anyone know how to disable the handsfree intercom feature? I would rather my telephone ring so that I can choose whether or not to respond. On handsfree....you have to respond even if you are in the middle of a meeting. Comdial Impact 8024 S GT. Thank you.

Do you know which phone system you're using? What model of phone - it could give a hint.
On some of the older Comdial stuff,
To disable press:
Intercom # 2
To enable press:
Intercom * 2

press options until you see VAB can change to yes or no.
I can see the light at the end of the tunnel..

I just read the reply for Comdial Impact 8024 S GT Our system is the Comdial 8012S-GT If I do WANT to have the hands free feature on phone system Comdial 8012S-GT, does the same rule apply- I would just have to press Intercom *2?
(I believe we have the Comdial DSV2)
