Hello all,
I know how it's a no no to give passcodes for the system. However, I cannot get in touch with any technician in my area who wants to touch my samsung dcs switch. I want to put my phones in night mode but I don't know the passcode. I need to know A. if there is a way to hard reset it. B. if there is just a default code that I can use. or C. all hope is lost.
Thanks for any help

dalionlv Thanks for understanding about the passcodes. If you complete your profile so we know your location we might be able to find you an installer. You can also go to find an installer and look for yourself and see if anybody listed is close. You can also PM a moderator as well, but please provide more information. Are you looking for the password for the day/night key? Or are you looking for the the password for programming? Be sure to include that in your PM.

it sounds like he needs the passcode for the NIGHT button itself... that code is available in the admin manual... can we give it out?

Pete We don't know if he has a night key and/or voicemail. We don't even want to give out Admin passwords on the open forum because business owners will not want employees making changes or using password protected features. Thanks for checking and not posting it. :thumb:

I have set a night key for the system. I also do have cadence voicemail. When the phones are put into night they will just roll to 529. The reason I am doing this is because if I put 529 into the roll over of the call answer group. If someone hangs up the system will not hang up the call it gets caught in a loop. However if I force them to dial into the voicemail and they hangup the call does not stay in the switch. Sounds weird I know but it's the only solution I have at the moment. I have the admin manual but I don't see the passcode for the night key.

How are you putting 529 in your call group?

dalion -
I see by your post history that you have had ongoing "issues" since 2005 on the same system. You have also mentioned that there is no one in town that is willing to help you. Besides my company I can name at least one other company that would and could support you. Give me a call or shoot me an email and we can take care of these ongoing nagging issues.
Look forward to hearing from you.
