Hi, I wrote a program that reads the UCD report (is that what it is called? - sample below) from the rs232 port of the Samsung OfficeServ 500. When I first wrote the program, the first digit after the group was the number of calls answered for the day, followed by the number of abandoned, and somewhere else the current number of calls in queue, longest time in queue, etc..

For some unknown reason the system is now outputting 0 for the number of calls answered. Strangely though, if I use a handset and press Supervisor 502, for example, I can see that there were 225 calls answered on the group, along with the 33 abandoned, etc.. so somewhere in the system it does know the right value.

Everything else is working fine, does anyone have any ideas as to what could be going wrong with the calls answered today figure?
(I can run OfficeServ Manager in Super mode)

Got on to Samsung about this and it seems it is because we are using
pickup groups and have no agents logged in. (although I am sure it
was working before with this setup)

Anyway, I can get the correct figure from the SMDR report, although
this only prints every hour. Maybe someone has a tip for increasing
the frequency of this? (could I use TAPI to trigger it? - I know I
can get it to print on demand from a handset with a supervisor key..
but we have 20 groups)

Why would you spend all this time when there are programs already written for this.. Myself I don't have time to write programs for something when there is something already on the market to do it. Take a look at Pabxsoft. Should give you all that you need without the headache.
