I dont think you are understanding. You need to eliminate the points of failure. If you bypass everything on site and have the carrier use a hard loop on the smartjack, do they see the same slippage. If yes, then you have a carrier issue. In not, then you need to troubleshoot everything onsite.
If A + B + C + D = Bad, then you need to find which leg is creating the issue. It could be anything. How far is smartjack from csu and csu from PRI card?

Yeah Im with you I thought i had said they tested onsite and tberd to circuit no slips & freq correct, but tberd between system to tepri card direct, even bypasing csu says 20hzt off and a slip about every 6-7 seconds. going tommoprrow with complete system replacement to test, samsung says it could be backplane?

It's possible. That is a part of the equation, but pretty unlikely.

"Yeah Im with you I thought i had said they tested onsite and tberd to circuit no slips & freq correct"... doesn't this mean that they just tested the dry pair from the CO to the site?
"but tberd between system to tepri card direct, even bypasing csu says 20hzt off and a slip about every 6-7 seconds" sound like they ran a test on the full ckt... to me it looks like 2 different kind of tests?? Might be their card on the input side of the CO instead of the output. Test #1 would not show that. If the test #2 was a test of the ckt in a normal mode then you would see slips..I hope I said that right! BTW, I have seen some Samsung system not like compressed T1's or analog lines coming from them.

I have a few questions, What type of CSU are you using, who is providing clock, I'm not real familiar with Samsung but do they have a master clock setting and do they use a Clocking card, if so do you have one installed?

samsung says clocking in MCP2 card, today replaced cabinet, still to many slips, replaced csu, no major difference, then replaced T1 card, down to 6 slips in 15minute intervals ,pprox 1 every 150 seconds, but still slipping...

my bad on the T1 clock, your right. You never said if this was a dynamic T1 or not? I had a 500 r2 that was on that type of ckt. The users voice traffic didn't have a problem because they didn't know the difference but when you added faxing in or out was when the compression caused the faxing to do weird things. See post from 11/7 above. Something else you might check...there was a batch of T1 cards that were bad rev.1 I think. Anyway, they would let you upgrade the software to 4.15 but it was missing a strap on the PCA so the new software didn't work. Out of ideas now
