I need unanswered calls to go to Day Main. But it seems that it doesn't work until I point call code "AT" to "Day Main". I would have thought it would be "NT", but appearently not...

I am happy that it works. But "AT" seems like a catch all setting. Having "AT" set to "Day Main" may limit what I want to do later on.

What are your thoughts?

Try overflow to a vm box, set as announce only and when no msg left goto Day Main Menu.

Thanks for the advice Lee,

Is that the way I should do it in this example period, or just if I need to point the "AT" call code somewhere other then "Day Main"? In other words am I going to run into problems having "AT" point to "Day Main"?

I think I am doing it the way Samsung wants, but I'm not sure. I'm back to the thought that "AT" is not the best call code for this application but the choice that seems obvious to me (NT) is not working.

Oh, sorry. Those are call codes used for call handling in the "Mode Block".

The descriptions are on page 617 of the US version of the OS7100 programing manual. Depending on what mode the system is in (Example- Mode Block(day))it looks at these call codes to see where to start.

_______________________________
for instance the manual says:
NT is No Answer Trunk. This is a trunk caller who was forwarded on a no answer

AT is Anything Trunk. This is a trunk caller who was sent by other means.
________________________________

It lists 11 different call codes to handle extension and trunk calls based on how the calls hit the vms.

I hope that makes sence, and I hope the description is right. It is the way I understood it worked, but I may be wrong and that is why it is not working the way I thought it should laugh

So to get the no answer trunk call to go to the day main menu I had to set AT to "goto" "mnu" "day main"

I thought I should have to set "NT" to "goto" "mnu" "day main" but no. It only works when I have "AT" pointing at "day main" menu.

Why not just leave AT and NT alone and just enter rules in your forward trunk and/or your direct trunk menus to route the calls to the appropriate menu?
