I seem to be having some trouble remotely programming a 7100.
Software V 4.14 IT V 1.1.1

IT works fine on the Local LAN

IT doesn’t seem to work at one of the other customer’s sites over their VPN with ping times of about 50ms constant. It seems to hang after entering the password.

IT worked slightly better from a remote connection with horrendous 1000ms + ping times but then crashed when I actually saved a program item.

I can log a IP phone onto this box and make call etc (good quality) couldn’t get into program mode this way because IT lockout timer was set to 60 mins frown and it thought that I was still logged on.

Then I tried the web tool and the voicemail tab works ok but the telephone tab gives a TT error code 202.

Found the problem it turned out to be a faulty switch at the customers site.

The pings were fine but things werent happening on the application level.

Just starnge that the IP phone logged on and worked so well.

IT works well remotely as OSM did.

Using the web utility you never want to click on the phone tab, only the voice mail tab. Use the Installation Utility or keyset programming for the phone side and web for VM.

Noisy, I think that is why he was giving the IT tool version number on his initial post. He is using the IT tool.
