I have a Samsung OfficeServ 7200 (DCS 400si) PBX system. I'm looking for a way to transfer a phone call that I answered to an external phone number. Anyone out there know how to do this?

That would work if you have the transfer capabilities on the co lines.
In Canada it would be
Flash, dial number and then await answer or hang up.Usually this would be a centrex line to do this.

pvj,

Why would you need transfer capabilities on the CO line to do what Pete suggested? The KSU is actually doing the transfer and making the call. Only downside to Pete's suggestion is it takes up two CO lines until the caller hangs up.

I"m trying to figure out how he can have a 7200 DCS400si phone system. If you have call transfer capability on the lines use a flash on the CO to transfer the call. If you don't press transfer then 9 plus the number though as CIT mentioned it will take up 2 lines for the duration of the call and the call will only last as long as the CO-CO timer is programmed for.

Oh... that damn CO-CO Timer! I forgot about that one time and I couldn't figure out why the customer kept getting dropped calls!
