hello-
was wondering how I can transfer an extension from one phone to another on the 400si? if it makes a difference the phones are 12B

Try mmc 315 to swap extensions.

Hi sorry for the delay - just coming back to this location... there is no mmc button...
also maybe I did not use the correct termination I'd like to be able to relocate an extension from one handset to another
IE
move extentsion 214 to the phone that is currently 217

there is no mmc button... This is true MMC's are programms used to make software changes to the system. Some are at a user level, others are at an admin level and still others are for an installer. If you do not have admin access you should contact your installing dealer and ask them to set you up with the admin functions.
