Hello.
I am dealing in a mission critical situation where backup and recovery are big concerns.
Is it possible to backup the Operating system file for the Samsung system like you can with the SMVI voicemail files?
I realize that the configuration database can be backuped using the Offiserv software which has all your custom configurations in the system however I was not sure about the operating system itself could be backup?
If so, it the process the same both for the Idcs 100 and Idcs 500 systems?

Why don't you download the software from the dealer website? It is available on there and you can either leave a copy onsite or carry it with you or both

PVJ makes a valid point. All you would need is the database. You can get the system software online (or even a newer version of it) at anytime you need it. You could copy the system OS and startup off of the processor but theres really no need for it.

Where can you download the system software at exactly? (I know this will be PM material.) It would be nice to actually keep a backup copy on hand, especially since we have 2 medical billing centers and one fairly large law firm with the 500's. Appreciate the info!
