I recently installed a new DX120. Simple setup. 2 lines. 1 Line rings ext 101 and second line rings in on the Auto Attendant. I am trying to get line 1 to ring X101 and after the pre-defined forward time (10 sec) to go to that extensions voicemail. Problem is, it rings forever and does not go to voicemail. I have CO line 800 ringing X101 (the only member) and have the pre-defined forward in extension programming to 433. I have noticed that the extension button for X101 does not light up when ringing, but the phone is definatly ringing. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.

That just takes it to the AA routing box 800. I need the call to go to x101's vm.

What you want to do is similar to Voicemail Line ID.
Try this- create a UCD group with 101 as the only member and reroute to 101. In CO line set answer position to UCD and pre-call noans to 101. In ext set no answer to 433. You may have to adjust timers.

if you overflow to 101 then rerout to 433 it should end up in the 101 MB. The overflowed to 101 will pass to the 433 when it's re routed and the ring at 101 and terminate in MB 101.

As a note, you always need to set the extension pre-defined call forward to 433 to get the caller to VM.

Hint... setup using UCD 416.. as it will go to box 800 when the overflow destination = 433.
