Im setting up CallWhere call accounting on a 7400 via TCP/IP I have the CallWhere pointed to the ip of the mcp using port 5100. Ive setup SMDR params. on the phone system to record in/outgoing. If anyone has ever used CallWhere on the connection screen it says it is connected but I do Not get any calls processed.I have tried to hyperterm to the ip via port 5100,9100 and 10020 and get nothing on the screen. Any pointers will help.

Check your ports that you are trying.

The manual says port 5100 is the smdr port but in mmc XX9 the ports listed ther are 9100 and 10020 and says they are "read only" entries. I guess I'll keep trying differnt configs untill it happens.

try another program like Hyperterm to check the data is being sent. In hyperterm use winsock port 5100. Verify you're using the right IP address.

Finally had time to work on this again. And miracously just by connecting to the lan port with a cross over cable and hyperterm ot it then putting it back on the switch and restarting CallWhere every thing is good.
