I'm working on a DCS compact ver;2.6 with 3 CO Lines on a 12B key set.1)DT 701 2)DT 702 3)DT 703 4)Call 1 5) Call 2 or how the buttons are displayed on the key set. When line 1 DT 701 is busy with a call I need it to go to the call 1 or 2 call buttons.I have 3 12b key set that have the same key programming.I needed DT701 when busy to ring a CALL button?

It will on an intercom call, but not a C.O. call. C.O. call will go to the next DT key, DT 702. No way too change that as you have it configured.

In the configuration above 1)701... could I put 701 in a station group 601 call forward to (group 601 with stations 201,202, 203) to ring when 701 is busy to intercom?

Why do you want to send it to a call key? What are you trying to accomplish, that's probably the best place to start.

The goal is to have the first line (main line) to roll over on a key when a second call is incoming on the main number instead of receiving a busy signal.

Rollover is a function of the telephone company not your telephone system. If you have DT keys for each line calls for that line will appear on the DT key associated with it ie DT702 will show any calls for line 2.A call key is used for intercom calls and trunk calls that you do not have a DT key appearance for. If you have 2 lines you would need to get the rollover from your line provider so if line 1 is busy then the next call would go to line 2.

If I take the dt keys off and add a tg9 group and call keys 1& 2 buttons would the main line show on the call keys if the main line is in busy?

If you eliminate the DT keys from all the phones and give every phone a Trunk Group 9 and 2 call keys here's what will happen. If you are on a call say line 1 the call key 1 on your phone will be lit but not on the other phones. If you put it on hold,it will flash on your phone but not the other phones.Others would have to dial access the caller on hold or you would need to transfer it to them. In my opinion,if you have the room on the keysets then give them DT keys for each line it makes the system easier to use.I don't know why your trying to go the call key route unless your trying to use as few keys as possible for trunks. Keep in mind though that every phone should have at least 1 call key (for intercom).

The first line is the main line and the second line is a DSL line and the third line is the fax. I have the keys the customer say when he use the dsl as a phone line and online it mess his service up. Trying to please the customer.I think I wil go with CO roll over.

Sounds like you might need a DSL filter as well...
