Alrighty Guys,
After reading the forum for a while now I though it time to post a question.
I got 2 new phones for my dcs-816 setup (think its a (616 to some of you guys), how do I tell the box the lines are digital or am I going about this the wrong way? (there are only 3 digital phones in there at present and think that the other lines are connected internally)
Many Thanks!

You cant tell the kit its a digi or analogue phone you'll have to use the correct pair from the distribution point (the smaller grey box next to the kit)
Try from the yellow/orange pair if the first 3 are in use.
If your struggling at this point it would be worth while having your dealer sort it imho

Nope thats pretty shoddy sadly. You'll have to find the 25 pair from the kit (possibly the grey one on the left) and try the pair i mentioned in the last post.
tbh i'd get a engineer unless you know what your doing as you could easy end up in a mess with wiring like that. Once you get the phones working your gonna have to program ring groups etc too.

as adi said, best get an engineer in as that is a mess. To ram all those cables into a 20pair box is just plain lazy. If you need an engineer, there is a few on here from the uk who i'm sure will be glad to help.
