I have a couple of Starmails that had bad memory modules (we're an ex dealer!). Does anyone know how I can format new hard drives for these beasts? I have quite a few units working in the field and on my shelves and I've tested the units that had bad drives by replacing them one from a working unit and find them all good.
I've searched the internet for replacement drives but haven't had luck since Starmail is a LONG ago discontinued item. If I can find the format and get the operating system software I can add these to my inventory as a backup for the units I have in the street now.

Those were originally made by ESI for Samsung. The only place I know of is to get them from where ever you can find them. Samsung might repair thru Telesource.

These guys will sell you a hard drive: https://www.affordablecommunicationsplus.com The price from Telesource is higher and absurd. People have cloned Cadence and SMVI hard drive and flash cards but Starmail is still very propritary as far as I know. I have one brand new one that I am saving for an emergency. ESI made the system frame and board but Samsung produced the hard drives with their software loaded. **edited to remove product bashing**
