Does anyone get that error message? I seem to get it frequently. Usually a channel opens back up in a few seconds. But today it was down until the MGI card was rebooted. Why does this happen?
Thanks, Scott

What type of system? What software version? What MGI card? What firmware version on the MGI card? What does the error log show?
The MCP must be able to see the MGI card on the network. Most of the times I have seen this, the problem has been network related. With that said, I just replaced an OS7400 main cabinet because it was bad. It was causing the MGI card to reboot. If you check the error log, you should see what is happening.
