I am trying to set up an external sound source to act as MOH but can't seem to work it out as I keep getting old folks at home played instead of the external source. I have connected the external source to MISC1 on the MCP and when I select the MOH source I get the option of none, tone or 371. I have selected 371 which gives me the old folks at home internal source from the MCP card. I can't work out where to change the source to use the external input. Please can someone list what I need to do in which menus - Many Thanks

It sounds like you do not have a MISC card on your MCP. This is required for MOH to work, if it had been installed on the initial configuration the default number for external would be 372. It sounds like you need a MISC card.

There is an MMC that controls that now. I ran into this the other day. As soon as I get to the office I will update this post with the MMC that controls that.

Getting rid of the screaming internal music is always a first priority for us since it gets overlooked a lot.
With the 7200 kit the Misc card is included.

Thanks guys, Ben b was correct - there was no MIS card fitted to the MCP! - Fitted one and now works although sound quality is quite low in volume and sounds hollow!

You'll need to adjust your source volume to increase the volume. Also, if you are using a stereo source, make sure you have the wires connected properly.
