I have a Samsung DCS that is giving me some problems I can't quite put my finger on. But I think I have narrowed most of the issues down to incoming cell calls. I have all CO lines programmed to go to group 501, which is my VM. From there, I have a standard greeting msg in which callers are allowed to enter the ent# of the person they are calling. IF they do not enter an extension, the second msg starts, which is the single digit menu. Problem is, if a cell caller calls, and they dial say ext# 219, they go right to the second tier of the single digit menu, i.e. 2, 1, then to another call group I have set up for a set number of extensions.
Could cell CID be causing the problem? Odd thing is, MOST of the time it's verizon and alltel callers that have most of the trouble. AT&T and sprint seem to work fine most almost all of the time.
I'm tiring of telling everybody they are listening to the message too long, and I don't think they really are.
Any ideas or pointers would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Play around with your "delay for extension" timer (configuration settings). It's configured in seconds and it is probably set too low.
