I've searched through the archives here but have found one that addresses my particular issue. Have a client with a DSU I, ver 20 soft. He wants the SMDR report to go to a particular PC abou 35 ft away. I used an existing cat5 cable, 4 pr, and am trying to connect using a DB9-to-USB adapter. When I go to Hyperterminal, I set up an icon with no flow control (ie, print as you get it)and set the DB9 with transmit/receive and CTS and sig ground. Forced other elements true. When I plug in the USB, it says it is port 2, so I set Hyperterminal to port 2, 8-1-none, but still getting a blank screen. Any help? Thanks in advance.

That is a thought, I never tried PortA on the KSU, suppose I will give that a shot. Thanks.
