I have the following:
Phone System hardware is Samsung DCS 50SI Phone Switch
The card labeled MEM has a flashing red led. Is this normal. If not, what is the issue, and how can I repair.
Note, there is a small what appears to be 2 position switch right under the led.

That switch is the backup switch. The blinking light is the heart beat.

Thanks. I had not notoced it before. So I should expect activity. When there is no activity I have a bad problem. How is the backup switch used? Originally posted by WRichey:
